Success Stories Over The Time

Each year, the EIA has the privilege of witnessing brilliant and ingenious young entrepreneurs in the making. One standout example from last year is a breast cancer AI-based startup, which successfully completed our bootcamp. Since then, they have achieved significant success, aiding governments in saving over 30 million EUR annually and, more importantly, saving countless human lives.

Below, you will find the full stories of all our successful alumni.

Enhancing Psychological Capital and Entrepreneurial Attitudes

Authored by Tiina Brandt of Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences, a recent study demonstrates that the European Innovation Academy (EIA) significantly enhances students' psychological capital and entrepreneurial attitudes. Participants showed marked improvements in hope, self-efficacy, resilience, and optimism, with increased confidence and a stronger inclination to start their own businesses. These findings underscore the effectiveness of EIA's program structure, particularly its focus on mentorship and team-building. The survey also highlights regional differences, with US students reporting higher gains compared to their European peers. Overall, the EIA programs are proven to foster essential entrepreneurial qualities, empowering the next generation of global innovators.

Our Story in the Spotlight

EIA is recognized by the Financial Times, Google, and leading European policymakers as one of Europe's top 100 digital pioneers.

UC Berkeley has integrated the EIA program into their curriculum to help students think like entrepreneurs.

“The experience was rich in learning opportunities, thanks to EIA’s initiative to bring in speakers and industry experts for engaging sessions. Through this program, I formed connections with many incredible individuals, some of whom have become my closest friends.”

Vanessa Techapichetvanich

Waseda University
"Because of EIA summer program, I received several job offers from companies in Silicon Valley and Germany. So I’ve definitely come back home a lot more determined and driven as well as focus and clear minded on what I want to achieve in my career — but most of all I can say I met a lot of amazing people who I’m sure I’ll be friends with for the rest of my life."

Bemi Adeosun

Dublin Institute of Technology
“EIA was a great opportunity for me to step outside my comfort zone, meet people from all over the world, and learn what it takes to build a startup.”

Paul Nichols

Deakin University
"I really loved the diversity of speakers, the exposure we had to so many different minds in the same space, and the pace of the program as well as the intensity of work required from us. It was all very immersive and I loved every single moment."

Sophia Hodgkinson

Università degli Studi di Torino
“The main learning point from EIA is the knowledge that launching and shaping an idea in just a few weeks is possible, which gives me a lot of strength and confidence. The passion and the structure that EIA was able to transfer to its participants were so strong that it eventually brought me back to trying the same path 5 years later.”

Eugenio Bertino

ESCP in Turin
EIA helped me improve my social skills, approach people, build friendships, find out quickly how the other person can help you move forward with your business idea.
