Qualification criteria
The short version: refer someone new, before they apply, and get paid when they pay.
What counts as a qualifying referral?
All four of these must be true:
- You submitted the referral before your friend applied or contacted EIA.
- Your friend is new to EIA. Not a past participant, and not already in our records as a lead in the last 12 months.
- They are accepted onto a 2027 program and pay their tuition in full, or complete their agreed payment plan.
- They start the program and are not withdrawn or refunded within the cancellation window.
Does it still count if my friend gets a scholarship?
Yes. A scholarship does not by itself disqualify a referral. Your friend must meet the qualification criteria, complete their agreed tuition payments and remain enrolled through the cancellation window. The €150 referral discount can be combined with a scholarship.
I'm a confirmed student. How do I get my €150?
It comes off your remaining balance. If you've already paid in full, we refund it. Refer three friends and you've taken €450 off your program.
What if two people refer the same person?
The first qualifying referral we receive is the one that counts. We use the registration date to review attribution.
When and how do I get paid?
Within 30 days of your friend's tuition clearing and the cancellation window closing. Cash rewards go by bank transfer or PayPal, in euros. The EIA team reviews enrolment, payments and reward eligibility.
Who can refer?
Any EIA alumnus, current participant or confirmed student. You can't refer yourself, and EIA staff and contractors aren't eligible. There's no cap on how many friends you refer or how much you earn.
Your university could send a whole cohort.
One friend is one student. One professor or study-abroad office is ten. If you can point us at the right person, that referral is worth a lot more.
